Followed up enquiry with Computershare and they advise that correct procedure is to forward option conversion p/w and cheque direct to them.
So .. yep... could easily be 3 weeks to have shares registered. When mine are, I can be more definite on time it takes. This is pretty important when deciding whether to convert now to take advantage of the market.
