it’s the energy market that defines TAS hydro power as 100% renewable and I doubt that’s gonna change based on an individual opinion not in any practical terms.
if the market prefers renewable energy then so be it.
this mine is also returning waste underground, so it won’t have the legacy issues many existing mines have, like Rosebery, where competition for tailings space may well have sunk its residual value.
there’s no pleasing some people, despite obvious net benefits.
