    • Aventus Property (formerly BBRC) is the largest private investor and manager of large format retail centres in Australia, managing 5 funds and consisting of a portfolio of 14 large format retail centres valued at more than $900 million.
    • Aventus Property is a specialist fund and asset manager with a proven track record including the acquisition of circa $350 million in large format retail centres in the last 2 years. International functions enable BBRC to grow the platform via acquisitions in a fragmented sector.
    • Executive directors, Brett Blundy and Darren Holland have significant experience and capability in the retail and property industry. Together, they share over 57 years of retail and property experience and have detailed insights into the operation, leasing, proactive asset management, development and enhancement of homemaker retail centres across Australia.
    • Aventus Property holds a substantial retail segment in Australia, with 18% of all retail sales in Australia (~$50 billion in 2014) and 350 operating centres representing 4.6 million sqm valued at $6 billion (circa a third of total retail floor space)
    • They have evolved from “bulky goods” to a broader retail offering including household goods, supermarkets, leisure, gyms and medical services. There is low capital expenditure relative to other retail and commercial assets.
    • The key demand divers include; populations growth (including migration), increasing housing construction activity and turnover of existing dwellings, change in household formation and lifestyle changes and the popularity of home renovating.
