I tried averaging down when i was a newbie and learnt some very hard lessons. I trade indices and still never average down. Might work for some i guess but like penny stocks it just doesnt work for me.
All my posts are obviously just my opinion. To me its totally logical to buy when prices are moving higher and sell when the opposite occurs. Its not rocket science.
