Anything will work if you know the future. Unfortunately my crystal ball from ebay is a dud!
I cant be bothered to do the math properly but a counter argument woud be to use stop losses.
How many shares would you have if using your numbers,
Bought at $1 stopped out at 97 cents.
Then bought a 80 cents stopped out at 77 cents and so on adding the extra amount and the amount your stop loss saved you. I imaginge it would cost you a whole heap less to have the same amount at the end of the day??
