Can anyone shed some insight into what would historically happen to the SP come the payment of the dividend? I am extremely new, this being my first Div payment, I know the sp drops come ex-div but will it drop again come payment date? I am sitting on a little extra I want put in but wondering if it is a case of now or wait a few days longer for a better buy...
