MRE's share price (along with many others) is probably now the equivalent of the average $500 K Sydney house being at $50 K.
You could sell the house because it may go lower - and it well might! Or it could burn down!
And of course, the house is completely unencumbered.
Or you can simply weigh up the risk reward scenario and say the house is much more likely to go up and down.
As an investor, what would you do?
By the way, we have an internal estimate of the Sydney property market going down 20-25% in the next year. So you may have the same issue with your actual house.
