i thought it would be interesting to go back to the shorting records and try and calculate the shorts avg position since the beginning ... this is not about closing their position but rather their av starting posi ...

16/06/2010 first day of short records ... 6.7 Mill @ .53

I have then used a basic method of final close price times the quantity of shorts for the day = total cost (its a crude calculation but if there is a better method let me know)
Add up total cost, total shares over the last few years then divide total cost by short total shares and came out to a avg short price of 1.28

Using the same method, i calculated the long position to be 1.52
