excuse me luvdoctor, i keep looking for a broker that charges fees like in the usa or even canada , for that matter.
i know this is the wrong thread, but cant find one on HC that has any info.
if you, a respectrd poster, or Bedger, another, or others could start a thread or lead me to one, i' d be grateful.
i am getting peed off with brokerage fees.
Awhile ago , I was with AOT, taken over by Comsec, who changed thier policy.
Used to be free platform fees if you made 8 transactions per month and $33 per Stock code buy. or sell AND you could trade that company 5 buys for that $33....and 5 sells of that same code for $33.
i wasnt a trader, but occassionally it helped. and platform was good.

now i just get pissed off when i hear about my brother trading the odd share in canada for peanuts compared to here. USA is better.
I have thought about Tiger Brokers, but would like to read some thoughts from some others out there about brokers and what they offer.

At present with Comsec and they arent too bad but crap interest ( 1.2%) on funds waiting to be used.
another acct is with Marketech, only because they took over another company.
You must pay platform fee in order to trade, plus there is brokerage.
interested to be directed to other people' s thoughts and experience.
