    Aviva Corporation (ASX:AVA, BSE:AVIVA) said they have drilled "extremely encouraging" holes into the Bumbo Base Metal Prospect in Western Kenya.

    The Australian based copper explorer and mining junior said they have unearthed significant interceptions, which include; 1.7% copper deposits at 10.41 metres. The drill essay also shows significant interceptions of zinc, gold and silver deposits. The company which has a market capitalisation of P195.76 million($A 27 Million) on the Botswana Stock Exchange said to date a total of 10 holes have been drilled on six sections of the VTEM anomaly over a strike length of 425m, for a total of 1553.87 metres. Seven of the 10 holes have intersected variable thicknesses of massive sulphide mineralisation within broader zones of disseminated and stringer mineralisation.
