It's the worst performance we've had with the SP since November last year IMO. There's no denying it. My take: Markets are not always rational. In a way TA is a self fulfilling prophecy (but that's also why TA works yet indicator usefulness drifts over months and years, if you observe them closely). But that also is why the sell off has happened so viciously - the SP crossed a couple of important lines and triggered selling. Broader market also matters, but still I would have hoped AVL would hold up in the face of head winds, based on its fundamentals. Let's see if tomorrow brings a surprise.
