I too have noticed similar parallels to PLS and the movement in the Lithium sector to what could potentially unfold here, even though I don't look to nor expect history to repeat itself when it comes to the stock market.

Having said that disclaimer , the chart just below is the weekly PLS chart. Notice the break out of what I call a base around 3.5 cents then a consolidation (highlighted) that lasted for a number of months before the real move began.



Drawing that parallel to AVL we are now in that corresponding consolidation phase above that almighty long base (see chart below).

Regardless of any parallels, for 2 years now I have maintained that a 'technical' target on the chart is 10 cents. The fundamentals give me every confidence that that target will be reached and then breached !
