AVL - Charts Only, page-18

Ahhh Nigel, the voice of reason. You should have read the one I wrote when I saw the announcement today Might post it later as I have it saved.

Yes, I am off up North tomorrow so won't be thinking of AVL. Race week!! Truth be told though, I hadn't thought of AVL in months until just recently when I popped in for a squiz. You see mate, I've lost money in plenty of companies in my time. And while I own my AVL shares for zilch finally, this complete lack of regard for shareholders, especially the really really loyal ones, has just got under my skin. You alluded to another source of my anger in your post, but we'll leave that alone for now.

It's kind of like Manchester United. Grew up loving them, but over the last 5 years they've assembled such a bunch of bottom feeders at the club that I'd actually like to see them relegated. Karma is a you know what, and as much as they are "my team", why should I support such a bunch of drop kicks who could give a rats about the club, only what goes in their pockets?? They deserve to learn a lesson, and maybe get a bit of humility while they're at it. Who do they think pays their wages (interesting analogy now that I'm writing it).

So if this company gets bought out cheap, and all those performance options (that's a laugh) end up at 1c to the dollar compared to now, so be it. Sure I'd like AVL to do well, but it certainly would bring a bit of a smile to my face watching a serious set up walk in and get stuff done, regardless of whether I'm chucked out as well. As we all know though, we'll probably get shares in someone like US Vanadium on a completely different scale than "others" if you catch my drift. Then you can use the share certificates as toilet paper, which if COVID come back, might just be worth less.
