In my mind anyway, I expect both state and federal government understand full well where the renewable energy industry is heading and whilst some may still toe the party line of working coal powered assets till end of life, others that are more enlightened are already making moves to ensure there is a base load equivalent (or at least as close as you can get) is available within a relatively short period of time. I expect things to start moving very quickly now as this has major project status and a grant "carrot" has been waved in front of management's noses.
This is the beginning of a substantial rerate. Once the chain is built from beginning to end, I see no reason AVL MC couldn't be worth billions of dollars. There aren't many companies that own the entire chain where revenue increases with each step down.
