How can they be light years behind absolutely nothing Lewis?
I'd suggest a TIVAN JV with Sumitomo, regardless of product, and major project status by the Feds puts them way ahead.
I'd say Vecco getting a massive QLD govt handout puts them ahead by a fair bit too.
Vecco aren't mining yet Lewis, they are making and supplying VFB batteries in a signed agreement with Sumitomo and Idemitsu.
Fully operational brand new plant opening in 2026 which is much bigger than the one Vecco have now.
They are literally doing what AVL plan to do - importing Vanadium, importing unassembled batteries and selling the complete unit.
The difference is they are already partnered up with suppliers and buyers.
C-Tech shipped equipment from the UK this year so Vecco can make 2 million litres of electrolye PA. 2 million!
They have massive state support - all tying in with Copperstring. $594 million to be precise. With extra Fed funding on top probably in 2025.
AVL have none of these things.

I'd remind you that:
AVL have no EPA approval yet, and when you do get it, you have a permanent 12 month construction veto hanging over you from the IC
AVL have no permit for the processing plant.
AVL don't own the land the plant is allegedly being built on
Vanadium is completely unprofitable at under $12 per lb for start-up mines.
The demand for Vanadium is easily matched by current supply, even allowing for the 2 biggest mines being on 50% production capability only.
AVL have zero chance of getting $1 billion to fund a Vanadium mine.
AVL appear to be the ultimate lifestyle company, which when the last of the grant $$$ is spent on salaries, trips and company cars, the 'team' will either hit you up for another CR or turn off the lights.
I know you are in complete denial of the failure of your investment, but if you cannot see that Tivan and Vecco are so far ahead, in a market which has no more room for any more players in Australia, then I really don't know what to say.
