ASX continuous disclosure rules mean companies have to disclose various forms of information about major projects, that are likely to impact on an investors decision making - even if it is BEFORE a FID.

So they can/must disclose prior to a FID depending on the situation.

So basically, by saying nothing definitive currently, AVL are telling us there is no CONFIRMED major project information that would influence the market, or investor decision making?

If they had confirmed big battery projects and financing already in the pipeline, or perhaps even MOUs, they would have to disclose them.

Plus you’d assume a company that has confirmed information or projects actually in the pipeline would want to disclose it, as it could boost the SP, making CRs more effective, and bringing in further, confident investment.

But yeah, the CD rules….. they may just be in an ‘incomplete discussion/negotiation’ stage with various major projects entities. Or it may be some ‘trade secret’. Or those entities will not commit to using AVL until AVL make a FID.

Or none of the above. Which I really doubt given Grahams presentations. I trust but also question to try & confirm my sometimes misguided faith in management.
