Maybe for smaller properties or units etc the size could reduced a bit, but most houses could easily fit this somewhere and it looks neutral enough that I don't think re-designing is necessary.
Hopefully they can get it installed asap and start getting data.
I would be interested in seeing the price estimates for a single unit, but also what it might look like at scale of say 1000 to 5000 installs per year... In the end cheaper lithium batteries are winning, but if they can start building a case where cost per unit isn't TOO far apart from lithium, then you'll at least keep people's ear long enough to hear the benefits of vrb over lithium and overall might be able to compete with the existing technology.
Sky is the limit from there but sadly we've seen a few news pieces over the years of residential vrb's being developed or even protypes ready for market if demand is there, but not much after that, so i'm just guessing that price has likely been the most prohibitive factor in why we haven't seen more of these make it into homes?
