My gut feel is we are going to sell a lot of 4hr batteries, and as the market develops and coal/gas drops out they’ll augment to get up to 8-12 hours by adding more electrolyte tanks
Lithium can’t do that and it's been mentioned at the last 2-3 conferences Graham has attended. Augmentation also helps all parties bring revenue forwards and push capital expenditure into the future (with higher CAPEX being the major pitfall of VFBs against lower OPEX).
