The commonwealth just offered ARU a US $500+ loan this week Share price jumped to almost double over the last few days. I think they are looking to mine Neodymium. Lynas has done well in that space but experienced a lot of interference in its Malaysian Plant allegedly from China.
The Japanese gave it a lot of support and now they are building a second plant in WA and have been given US $ support to replicate something similar in the US. I see a lot of similarity with AVL and LYC from mining a product controlled by China with a huge future emerging tech.
Lynas also had a huge number of shares (not as many as AVL) which they consolidated in a 10 to 1. I bought in at 3c sold at 15c thinking I would buy back in after the consolidation when they went down. They never did and I never did. Can't complain about 5 bags but wish I didn't sell. Will not make that mistake again.
Back to the ARU loan ... this is smart thinking by the govt If they get it right they get there money back as opposed to the Grants that seem a bit loss for the Govt. And it allows them to offer larger amounts. would gladly put my hand up for $500 US $ loan especially if the number crunching still comes back with a three year pay back.
The most important thing Graham could give us is an estimate of when he is going to hire the golden shovels for the photo op.
