Yes I did and it was very interesting...There was a rep from Synergy talking and while he didnt say directly that VFBs are the perfect fit, he did say that Lithium batteries have their limitations, hydrogen is too expensive and technology has years to advance yet..
He mentioned that some of the other flow batteries were years behind VFBs and that VFBS are 40 years in the making and is a proven technology and are suitable for the 4 to 8 hour requirements.
He said that the longevity of them is a very important consideration when deciding on which system to choose....So all in all, he was very positive about VFBs.
Graham was very polished and he gave the impression that all the ducks were lined up and just waiting on Envoromental approval.
He said that there have been many discussions with NAIF and was very positive about their involvement.
As most of us on here know, AVL are nearly over the line and there is no doubt that success is just around the corner.
