It's not that other nuclear countries have got it wrong, just that different energy resources/set-ups work (or don't) for different countries...so much depends on land/access to water, skilled workforce, expertise/legal frameworks/cost vs benefit etc.
I would hope that this nuclear debate doesn't become a zero sum game where the choice becomes nuclear OR renewables as that would be a great shame, economic bungle and national security risk (in terms of self-sufficiency in energy)
