I think the homestead of the vendors is further away than that, and out in the country noise is a hell of a lot more disruptive …. Especially if AVL was intending to operate at night.

…. I wonder what Flor thinks can be achieved by “further assessment and community consultation”? …..bar offering to buy all or part of that property …. (Which is likely on the cards from someone at some stage anyway given the railway line, gas pipeline and highway plus Geraldton’s oft-stated plans for ‘outer area’ rezoning.)
Flack to Wood on this I reckon for spending many, many months on stage one of its’ ‘optimal way forward’ plan at a likely cost of large amounts of money and not bothering to check the views of nearby residents!
