They inked a deal in February 2023 with Richmond Vanadium over in Queensland to take their vanadium from RTV …. And to seal the connection RTV acquired more than 10% of Thorion for $3m (https://richmondvanadium.com.au/our-partner/)
…. So the battery components are made in Vietnam and they intend to source vanadium from Queensland .
If Reece thinks they are local heroes, surely that make AVL local super heroes with our intended local mining and processing plants, priority status from the government, more than $30m MOU’d for development with the US government, and plenty of other connections with the US (despite that Dan Harris is no longer an executive director with USV).
If he does not approve Ġabanintha then I guess there must be something seriously amiss out there :/
