No this merger won't be a disaster. That's only your opinion (which you are entitled to) but its constructed out of frustration and disappointment. Yes this whole process has introduced delays neither projects, nor the shareholders wanted, there is no doubt about that! But it is a great merger of two very good prospective projects and a common sense outcome.

Whatever the delays there is a very qualified team running this show with a great depth of knowledge, and yes RCF have significant influence here also but, like them or hate them, they are very good at seeing opportunity and making the most of it. They have invested heavily and they wont be letting go any time soon I believe (IMO). The management team are not idiots and i am 100% confident they are more than across the issues and challenges they face in this process and are also not shareholder haters and misogynists. They will be working very hard to get the pieces of the puzzle fitting together and want to be timing announcements carefully now. None of this can be done in a day or week. The merger was only ratified late January and announced 1 Feb. That's all of 13 days ago! Yes there was a 6 month lead up but until the deal was approved by all only so much can/could be done. So I'd love to know how much many of us "professional commentators" here can achieve corporately in 14 days?! Just to get announcements out the door there is much to pull together and then go through approvals by people who are likely working long hours on the planning and logistics strategies and urgencies etc.

I too am incredibly frustrated by the added timeframes here but I also completely understand this is what it is now, the team is good and we need to focus on what the results are not on hyperbole and assumptions.
