Power cuts in Victoria.
People blaming politics (stupid), clearly wild weather.
However falling transmission lines are to blame here. We have transmission lines because it isn’t practical to put a coal fired power station in every population centre, however there is a great opportunity to localise power production through renewables, and storage solutions, limiting the need for care and maintenance of transmission lines transversing the country.
hope everyone is doing OK, and this is the kick up the ass the powers that be need to adopt renewables (both power generation and storage).
