I got in with a small holding at 8c while I do my FA.

I've done plenty on Vanadium FA but not much on this company yet.

One thing I like about AVL is the fact they intend to sell flow batteries on the Australian market. Despite announcements I do not see a lot of preparation work yet. I would like to see more announcements on how they plan to implement this.

They would at least need to be working now on a new website to showcase what they will sell and setting up agreements and distribution Australia wide. It might not be such a cheap exercise but I feel they are a long time away from actually mining and this would give them the chance to perhaps cover some of the management costs if successful.

We're three years away from Vanadium having a big impact on storage imo and they have a chance now to do it properly and get a box seat. The danger is that the big energy suppliers have worked out they need to be in storage. If they end up selling from the manufacturer to end users it might push AVL only into specialist commercial applications. Let's face it they won't be a manufacturer but a middle man with resource in the ground short term.

The idea is good but the implementation might take a more dynamic management than we seem to have now.
