Anvil Mining Joins S&P/TSX Composite Index
Montréal, Canada: Anvil Mining Limited (TSX, ASX: AVM) today announced that it has
joined the S&P/TSX Composite Index. Also effective today, Anvil Mining has joined the
S&P/TSX Materials, Metals & Mining Sector Index.
Bill Turner, President and CEO of Anvil Mining stated, “We are very pleased to have been
selected for inclusion in the S&P/TSX Composite and Material, Metals & Mining indices and
believe this will increase Anvil’s visibility and liquidity for the benefit of our shareholders.

as the leading copper producer in the Democratic Republic of Congo, offering a strong growth
profile and solid shareholder returns”.

Anvil Mining Limited is an unhedged copper and silver producer whose shares are listed for
