A few years ago AVM was just an investment. Now its worth more than my mortgage.

I'm not going to sell because
* its sitting on a current PE somewhere around 3.
* its got broker buy ratings 70% above where it is now
* all indications are its sitting on a monster resource to be announced in September
* They're going to start another operation next year
* When they've finished defining this resource they'll go back to the ones they were going to look at before
* Most people are picking this boom is going to last a decade - with the usual gyrations

Most resource companies are in the same boat (Low PE ratios) In a year or so Joe Public is going to get used to the idea that medium size resource companies are a good investment return not just for capital growth but for dividends as well - about the time Anvil announces a maiden dividend.

The AVM share price has been trending upwards (with hickups) for four years. I reckon the charts going to look its best over the coming year.
