No I don't think this has much if anything to do with the slide. This case has been around for years now. The Canadian courts have allowed a civil action to be heard in Canada rather than Australia or DRC. That came out a few weeks ago. Once again it is the NGO's political attempts to extract money out of Anvil rather than pursue the DRC government. Anvil has an extremely strong case and will defend any action vigorously. I'm not concerned at all.

The slide I think is more due to profit takers selling out now that the plant has started cathode copper production. Short-sellers still in the mix. Omers Corp have just increased their holdings, and copper has dropped so have other copper stocks.

I have just bought on this price weakness and volume has been low on the TSX.

It won't be long for things to turnaround.
