re: avm sp gains john John, I think you're forgetting where in a commodities boom!

AVM has had its spontaneous moments of brilliance only to lose most of its momentum each time. Go and have a look at the chart since start of 2004, and you might rethink your statement.

AVM has NOT performing very well since then compared to a lot of its peers.

For get about the % increase its about comparing it with its peers not the sharemarket in general.

Well surprise surpirse AVM goes down the drain yet again, I think that is 4 red days in a ROW!!!

Give me a takeover by year end...
