The demand for avocados is growing and competition in that market is getting tougher. Chile and Mexico, which are China's two most important suppliers, compete with one another. In March of this year, Mexico predicted that China will demand a greater volume than the US within the next ten years. Peru doubled its exports last year compared to the 2016 campaign.
