re: oversold i think the main issue is that no one really believes the commodity boom is sustainable.
Adam hamilton of zealllc.com says that this belief is instrumental in sustaining it, because it keeps buyers out of the market. remember it is when everyone is in that it is about to end.
it is when everyone believes that this is the new reality that it is about to end. ie remember the tech stocks.
therefore we should enter the next phase of the bull market soon. this happens when all bullish sentiment is gone.
