    In case you people need reminding - the RAN has for many years deployed war-ships in the Middle east in harms way.
    Just recently our RAAF has been active in Europe

    I doubt our defence personnel would be too shocked to learn that their jobs might require them to be in harms way on behalf of Australia.
    We are hoping the Brits & US will sortie their Nuc Subs through our region -
    I think my suggestion re our F-35's is exactly in line with "stepping up to do our share" with our Allies - against the Russian, Iran+proxies, China, Norks assholes of the planet.
