With a capital raising announced at $0.16/share and the ASIC stop order crashing the share price the issue is going to be how do AVQ raise enough funds to do anything meaningful on San Jorge? AVQ should have the funds needed to finish off the mineral resource from the San Jorge drilling, but anything after that they will not have any money. The Rights Issue is going to have to be pulled and re-priced and then realistically how much money can they expect to get out of the shareholders? Probably enough to continue to pay RM's salary and not much else. Given the loss of Isabel, a less than hoped for result at San Jorge and a time line which has never been met, what justification is there for RM to continue to pull the amount of money out of AVQ that he does? In the end the MD has to take responsibility and if he is not going to do that then the shareholders have to call the MD to account.
