I have predicted AVQ poorly in the past -so I'll stay away from solid predictions -perhaps some more consolidation if no announcement -but doesn't feel like capitulation is imminent to me (but what would I know).
It is a little unusual that we have been so stable for a number of days.
Hi Stock, I have a core holding that intend to hold for the good news (assuming it arrives), but I also have some orders in and cash that I will use to buy more at some time.
I have usually been "all in" with my investments and it has got me in trouble in the past, but just like almost every holder here, from the popular to the unknown, I now try to avoid putting all my eggs in the one basket.
If we get a trading halt and great news so that's fantastic -we have a lot of upside from here. I will look to take some AVQ off the table after good news, and it is a really interesting question trying to work out a realistic post news SP (depends on the news of course). I keep in mind that the SP prior to the CoA result is no longer equivalent to the current share price as I have said before, and I will use that to try to guide me.
Whichever way it is sliced and diced, there is still plenty of upside from here with the right news and nickel continuing to look strong.
Cheers,
SJB
