As highlighted in the company's announcement just 7 weeks ago:
.....significant work and effort by our team and by our stakeholders towards our objective of securing approvals for the Isabel Nickel Project is showing progress.
.....negotiations commenced with Solomon Islands Government over mining lease conditions and statutory procedural matters..... and are in an advanced stage
.....initial funding is in place and our landowner partners continue with their steadfast support.
.....RM remains confident in the delivery of our initial licensing objectives, enabling us to harness our expert team’s commitment to project development in order to realise significant value from this world class nickel project in Solomon Islands.”
.....the Company is now dealing with the Ministry of Mines as to the processing of its licence applications and is optimistic of a favourable outcome from current negotiations.
To me if you are already talking MINING LEASE CONDITIONS and STATUTORY PROCEDURAL MATTERS then I believe we are at an advanced stage of the overall process and perhaps that is why SMM have now "graciously" withdrawn from the race as they knew it was all over red rover!!!
Looking forward to a clean start off the blocks this week folks.
Bring home the gold RM (well Nickel at least)!!
