One of the most important things i've learnt following AVQ, is that the Australian government provides far too much of my tax dollars to these backwards countries, (SI) who after being provided countless opportunities over the decades to raise themselves from poverty, continue to flush their peoples health, well being, and economic success down the toilet.

It's never easy when very different cultures mix like this. Different priorities, self interest and lack of empathy can be like trying to mix fat and water... "Good intentions" and generosity usually comes with a price too.
