No I think what actually happened was the elephant was dyslexic and thought the clown was the ringmaster and in his "disgruntlement" trumpeted (or is it Trumped?) very loudly in his ear; only to be told it was the bald-a**sed baboon in fact, calling the shots. The elephant was very embarrassed by his faux-pas (they are polite creatures and wouldn't step on a fly, normally) and in his haste to exit a very awkward situation, farted very loudly. (you can imagine!!)
It was this act which somewhat unreasonably, caused the consternation of the baboon leader and much to the chagrin of all the other animals, he was asked to leave the circus.
There is much crying and screeching to be heard from the feed lots and only a sharp rise in the AVQ share price will silence the otherwise very temperate and well behaved commuity.
