A while ago I actually predicted that it would be Abbott (over Edwards or Medtronic) who would end up acquiring Anteris and the DurAVR and this most recent development further substantiates this eventual development in my opinion....
Although who knows!?
We also learned recently through an article shared on HC that Johnson and Johnson were on the acquisition path and were interested in buying med tech devices in the cardiovascular space.
Either way we're in an enviable position.
I've deliberately over the past 6-12 months sought out arguments/reasons why the DurAVR will not one day absolutely dominate (>90% market share) the TAVR space..... I've yet to come across a plausible one.
I cannot see how many many parties would not be seriously interested in purchasing us right now.
