Fridays session closed just above resistance from the falling wedge (bullish) pattern, making this weekends conference results all the more interesting.

Although AVRs sp has been on the drift since June there has actually been clear net buying all the way down.

Fridays price action was very positive rejecting a push below the 200dMA and also had strong buying to take the sp above the POC (point of control) since the move up in May.

The POC is sitting around $22 and does look to have been a heavy accumulation zone. With such a small free float it does make it hard to get a position in AVR (trust me, I had to buy in about 10 different chunks) but does make a good case for why it may have seemed like a slow death for any holders watching the sp.

We're not out of the woods yet with Fridays close taking out overhead resistance but failing to break through the 50dMA (which it closed bang on).
This makes Fridays closing price the first level of resistance holders will want to see broken.

The 100dMA is currently at $23.96 - this is the next level needed to be broken for any run to have legs.
If this level is taken out I'd look towards the top of the VA (Value Area) which is around $26 for the next zone of resistance and then it's pretty clear sailing thereafter.

Obviously if Fridays bullish move has no follow through then expect the lower support from the falling wedge to be tested.
This is around $20.40 and also happens to coincide with the bottom of the VA.

Lets hope the strong buying over the last few days is a sign of what's to come and we see a decent rerate for the sp in the near future.
