@Mpk888 did posit the possibility of results ... few days before AVRO expiries would be ideal
A couple of weeks at least - by which I mean a lot more than a few days - would give oppie holders and would-be oppie buyers a chance to assess impact of any last-minute announcements.
Pulling a rabbit out of the hat just as option-trading is about to cease would be a horror show. Who would buy oppies when there would be almost no time to cough up the strike price to convert, and how many oppie holders actually have the coin to convert anyway? I suspect many of us would need to sell a proportion of our AVRO in order to funds conversion of the rest, and all of that takes time.
Meanwhile, clock is ticking ... tick ... tick ...
