Phantom, Eire is right in that the standard test results for all valve testing is success and mortality rates at 30days. that's how limited the industry is sadly, only 30 day mortality rates and performance. there are usually follow ups, sometimes 60 & 90days and then 12 months etc. the extended time frame ones are not really required as such, just more research.
however with the need for durability, we have a chance to really prove our product by following some patients as long as we can and extend the requirements for everyone else to test and prove their product.
we are our own best friend and enemy because our product is likely so good and so disruptive that it'll change industry requirements and change the standard of testing as we go. this is a good thing, but when you score 100% on your final exams, usually people ask questions and want more from you to prove it. I'm ok with that, we just need to understand it if the hurdles are a little more time consuming.
the other thing is the wording of the test results. most companies lean on a result or pump their own tyres up even if the results are average. we need to consider not just delivery of great results but how they are published. sure, I'm frustrated that we haven't gotten more news flow, but if the end result is because we're trying to deliver the report in a way the market can understand and pump it the right way (the market won't understand "just numbers", then I can wait.
Maybe the bench test is being held back for a timely announcement to coincide with another announcement. who knows, method in the madness or madness in the method, we'll soon find out!
I've started converting my options, exciting times!!! GLTAH. DYOR
