COMPANY UPDATE

We advise that it is expected the Annual Report will be finalized and mailed to shareholders by Friday 24 May 2002. This is two weeks later than our original estimated mail date of 10 May 2002. The audit of the Company’s accounts has taken longer due to clarification required on certain Hong Kong Companies Ordinance matters.
As previously advised the position of the Company has not varied substantially from that announced in the Company’s Appendix 4B on 15 March 2002.
It is expected the AGM will be held in the last week of June 2002.
The Company continues to progress its Plasma Project as well as review other opportunities as they are presented.
