In he latest bizarre twist to the CZD-AVX saga, AVX has appointed former Calzada corporate secretary and acting CEO of PolyNovo Biomaterials to the AVX board of directors. We remember that Mr. Kirkwood was sacked from the Board upon the arrival of Mr. Franklyn and Mr. Cameron-Dow.
How this plays into the ongoing drama is anyone's guess. It is perhaps noteworthy that AVX's announcement of this appointment failed to mention any aspect of Mr. Kirkwood's former association with Calzada, Metabolic Pharmaceuticals or Polynovo. A very strange omission as I see things.
