They may have requested details be kept confidential, to what end I wouldn't want to speculate.
However, anyone is able to go to the company and request a look at the shareholder register. Shareholders are able to do it for free. A request for a copy of the register must be done within 7 days, however a shareholder should be able to go visit the office and request a look on the spot.
