First Medical Operations in Manono a Success
Upright Africa, funded by Tantalex and supported by Coproco Group SARL, under the guidance of Dr. John Woods and his team, have completed their first campaign in Manono. The team, consisting of Surgeon – Dr. Alain Muka, Gynecologist – Dr. Patrick Murhula, Dr. Morisho, Anesthesia Chief – Jean Claude Bahane, Dr. Aaron and local doctors and nurses, completed four days of surgery on 74 patients, totaling in all 87 operations. We are thankful for all the work done for the improvement of the community and a second campaign is planned for September/October.
