You likely dont know how much it cost to short nor the mechanics.

The first big short 1.5% of AVZ SOI was 19th March at 98c
The second occurred early April from $1.2 to early may at $1 (unlike 19th march this period was loys of sizeable parcels rather than 1 huge one)

Come open trade even if AVZ gets 100% of everything as nothing ever happened, how many holders will sell, I imagine a significant number..

Imagine AVZ only get 75% good news... how much do you think SP will drop?

What if AVZ get bad new ie loses 15% to ZJ, its not end of the world but SP will be around 30c in that case.......

Reality is 49% of Manono is huge, in fact bigger than most near term Aussie lithium miners have wet dream about but that has little do with what will happen on opening few days

what did the market value AVZ at when it thought a ML was imminent? What was the price of SC6 then? If as you put it ‘AVZ gets 100% of everything’ I’d suggest that he price will head north rather quickly.
