brrrrrr, yes Li is a pretty common element , its actually found in very small trace amounts in nearly all igneous rocks
but finding it at the required grade / concentration, without excessive impurities , volume isn't so easy
There's a number of family memebers in the Li household ...such as 'spod' , which we are interested and others such as pedalite, amblygonite, lepidolite etc you may have seen the last few members of the Li family in a host of of ASX / US Li Explorer's announcements over the last few years, which have only went on to burn shareholders capital after the initial Eurphoric "LI STRIKE" celebrations.
I've no doubt that there will be other huge discoveries of Spodumene in the years to come; some may even dwarf AVZs Manono in time, take PLS for example, that was considered a monster until AVZ's Manono rocked up....now Manono absolutely dwarfs Pilgangoora.... same may happen again , but until then there's only one Manono and its pretty clear the bigger powers (which are a bit better clued up that yourself) want it.
Hey, question !! you were a GLV holder who recently lost his ass after that Sassanof-1 drill ......tell me this , how on earth could you not have seen that that bore was going to hit nothing, but a chamber of water when the bore was moving like absolute lightening through the ground, the drillers must have been looking at each other going 'this isn't what we want' as the bore was heading south at the rate is was , there's no way a chamber could have been water / gas tight in that sort of strata at depth ....all you got was a pod of water and a gas which would have progressively leaked out over millions of years....seems like the light bulb came on for the switched on investors even before they hit target ....where as you just asked 'How did they know' after the salty water results came out
Maybe do a little bit of research before you post
