A leading broker said Oxiana's report on a reserve increase from 0.93m ozs to 1.57 m ozs at the Sepon gold project highlights the Sepon region's extremely prospectivity and likelihood of further increases in the reserve base, but the broker's valuation for Oxiana of 59c is below the share price and the broker had recently downgraded the stock to "market perform" on price.
The broker expects Oxiana to report a $12 million profit for the half year tomorrow.
*Another leading broker has a valuation of 59c with upside to 89c, says the stock short term is a "market perform", long term "buy". OXR up 1c to 80c"
