They are - but at the same time a necessary evil. In between holding pretty stagnant for long periods (on intra-day charts) - they do run the stock up and down providing trading opportunities. Currently imo - it's all about accumulating stock for index rebalance / after market swap. Plenty of churn over past week or so. Wonder how they are going with the accumulation. Slightest sniff of improving OS markets - I reckon they will have to churn harder - and likely keep it going in the upwards direction to reach whatever their holding objective is. Anyhow - just keep some for long term and use their market powers to your advantage from time to time.
